Equipment & Power Plant Installations

When it comes to equipment installations, meeting our customer's scheduling needs while providing the highest level of quality and craftsmanship is the number one goal of our field installation department.  We have a complete Microwave Radio bench test facility located in Southern California which can test multiple radio hops simultaneously including DS1 and DS3 equipment. 

Capabilities

We specialize in, Ericsson RBS equipment installations, and our field installation personnel are proficient in installing Lucent and Nortel RBS equipment, Alcatel, Harris, and NEC Microwave equipment.  Additional equipment installations that we are capable of performing include most major microwave equipment, telco interface, DSX, DS3, EZT3, CDPD, Power plant/rectifier, fuse panels, including all types and sizes of batteries and associated equipment used in the communications industry today.  We follow the highest level of earthquake bracing and grounding safety standards in the wireless industry today, and can meet any and all customer required specifications and special bracing and grounding installation needs.  Additionally, we can provide emergency response and restoration services when storm damage  or other failures occurs.  Such services can range from on site evaluation and temporary restoration to total, permanent facility restoration.

With our mobile warehouse we can mobilize to any location with all the equipment, tools, & materials needed for a single site installation up to a large scale multi site installation project. 

Installation, Turn Up, Testing, & Troubleshooting 

Our installation group has the experience to install many types of equipment including Ericsson, Lucent, and Nortel.  With the vast range of experience we have some of the strongest, most efficient, and meticulous technicians in the industry with the support of our management teams there is no single install that is too small and no large scale project too big for our team including site turn up equipment testing and troubleshooting.

Microwave Radio & Test Equipment

Our test equipment assets include Hewlett Packard Digital Spectrum Analyzer, Sweep Oscillator, Plotters, power meters and a wide range of sensors, Frequency counters, Anritsu S331B for coaxial and antenna system testing and Anritsu S820C elliptical waveguide and antenna system test set, lastly our T-Berd 209A, 305 and 311 DS1 and DS3 test sets.  This equipment and our experienced technicians provides Wireless Associates a wide range of capabilities which includes MW radio bench testing, installation, power up, T-Carrier cabling, DSX and EZT3 installations, associated alarms, turn up, testing and documenting performance of microwave radios in the field.
